LOOK: Bb. Pilipinas queens salute fellow ‘Binibinis’ as they prepare to pass crowns
Before crowning their respective successors, the reigning Binibining Pilipinas queens expressed gratefulness to fellow Binibinis for their pageant journey.
Catriona Gray, who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines and is the reigning Miss Universe, gushed about her fellow Binibinis, as seen in her Instagram post last night, June 8.

“I am so grateful to have been reigning alongside you beautiful souls,” Gray said. “You all made me feel like we had a little family every time we would see each other and that is something I am definitely going to miss.”
“You all made our country so proud,” Gray added.

“It is time to turn over our crowns, it is time to take our final walk,” Gumabao stated. “My first ever pageant could not have been any better because of these amazing women right here that I am proud to call my sisters.”
Reigning Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental Karen Gallman recalled her pageant journey with a behind-the-scenes photo of her fellow Binibinis via Instagram stories today, June 9.
“Once a binibini, always a binibini,” Gallman said, quoting a popular saying among past winners of the pageant.
Gray, Gumabao, Gallman, Binibining Pilipinas International Ma. Ahtisa Manalo, Binibining Pilipinas Supranational Jehza Huelar and Binibining Pilipinas Grand International Eva Patalinjug will pass their crowns to a new set of queens tonight at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. JB
