Derek Ramsay confirms breakup with longtime girlfriend

MANILA, Philippines — Actor Derek Ramsay and his girlfriend Joanne Villablanca have decided to split after six years of being together.
“Yes, we have broken up,” Ramsay said when asked about the status of their relationship, as reported by entertainment website Pep.ph Thursday.
However, the actor opted not to disclose further details behind their separation.
“I’d like to keep that between the both of us. It’s all for the best,” he said.
The breakup came as a surprise to many as both of them already openly talked heading to marriage.
“Jo and I are enjoying life together. We haven’t spoken about marriage, but I’m sure it’s headed that way,” Ramsay said in a previous interview. (Editor: Mike U. Frialde)
