LOOK: Kim Chiu, Bela Padilla bond in New York

Kim Chiu and Bela Padilla had the chance to bond in New York where they modeled creations by Filipino fashion designers.

The actresses, along with Sam Milby, were part of the fashion show “Kasaysayan at Kasuotang Pinoy sa Manhattan” held on June 1 in New York. The show featured the modern Filipiniana designs of Albert Andrada and Cherry Veric.

Chiu wore a white tulle gown, while Milby a white suit by Andrada. Padilla donned a colorful ensemble by Veric.

The three also attended a parade on June 2 proudly wearing creations by the same designers. The event was to celebrate the 121st Philippine Independence Day.

The “Ghost Bride” star also shared what she did during her downtime. One of these was strutting in Times Square at 1 a.m. because of jet lag, she shared on Instagram on Monday, June 3.

In a post on Wednesday, June 5, she posted pictures of her and Padilla bonding in the Big Apple.

“Had so much fun in NYC with my sister from another father,” Chiu wrote. “Remember I’m always here for you… one text away is all you need! take care of yourself momsy, specially (sic) your heart.”

The “Meet Me in St. Gallen” actress shared the love back. “Love you moms! And our iyak tawa (crying and laughing) realness.”

Together, the two call themselves “BeKi”; as a trio with Angelica Panganiban they call themselves “AngBeKi.” In February, the three got matching tattoos to mark their friendship.  /ra
