WATCH: Kim Chiu sprints to beat traffic, makes it to fashion show in time for finale walk
Kim Chiu took matters into her own hands and ran as fast as she could—not only to avoid traffic, but to make it to a fashion event on time.
The Kapamilya actress was part of the Bench Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2019 held at the Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig, on Friday. While on her way to the event, she got stuck in a horrendous traffic as one road was closed for an electoral campaign.
“Really?!!!! May kampanya sa gitna ng daan?!!!!” Chiu expressed on her Instagram Story. “Sarado ang daan on a Friday afternoon??!! Sana umabot ako!!!”
(Really?! There’s a campaign in the middle of the road?! A road closed on a Friday afternoon?! I hope I can make it!)
Chiu, who is a runner herself, then documented how she and her crew dashed to the event in an Instagram post. “[T]raffic is so unpredictable nowadays!!!” she expressed.

And it appears that her experience served as a lesson for her. In another Instagram Story posted Saturday, Chiu said she arrived at the airport two hours early, saying she was afraid to get stuck in traffic again.
