LOOK: Kim Chiu, Bela Padilla in New York City for Independence Day parade
Kim Chiu and Bela Padilla will be joining the 29th Annual Philippine Independence Parade in New York City as guests, alongside Sam Milby.
The actresses were welcomed by fans of Chiu upon their arrival, as per Chiu’s Instagram post yesterday, June 1, a day before the parade.

The morning after their arrival, Chiu and Padilla walked on the runway in a fashion show ahead of the parade.
Padilla donned a tribal-print coat with neon pink cuffed sleeves, paired with silver knee-high boots, as per her Instagram Stories today, June 2.
Chiu also took to Instagram to show the piece she wore for the show — a white gown with large ruffles all over, designed by Albert Andrada.
“Happy 21st Philippine Independence Day. [I] had so much fun at the show/fashion show and had a pleasure to walk for @albertandrada beautiful creation. So [in love] with this gown! Thank you so much. See you [tomorrow] at the parade,” Chiu stated after the fashion show.
The parade is in line with the Philippine Independence Day Council, Inc.’s 121st Philippine Independence Anniversary Commemoration. JB
