Kakai Bautista saddened by exclusion of Filipino, Panitikan in college subjects
MANILA, Philippines — Actress and comedienne Kakai Bautista has expressed alarm over the exclusion of Filipino and Panitikan or Philippine literature in college core subjects.
Bautista posted on Monday a screenshot of an article on the removal of Filipino, Panitikan and the Philippine Constitution from the college curriculum.
“Bakit po? @PhCHED Sana maipush naten ang pag-aaral ng Constitution sa secondary level. kailangang kailangan,” the comedienne captioned the photo.
“Pero teka, nakakalungkot padin to. Dapat nga sana mas pag-aralan natin ang napakaGANDA nating KULTURA,” she added.

The Supreme Court (SC) reiterated its October 2018 decision validating the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) memorandum order on the removal of the subjects of Filipino, Panitikan and the Philippine Constitution from the college core subjects.
