The Chainsmokers

The Chainsmokers, the electronic dance music duo composed of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, is set to return to Manila for yet another concert party on Aug. 15 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Mounted by MMI Live, the concert is part of the Asian leg of the American act’s latest world tour, “World War Joy.” Tickets will go on sale, starting May 27 at 10 a.m. on www.universe.com/mmilive.

The tour will be in support of The Chainsmokers’ upcoming third studio album of the same title. This will be The Chainsmokers’ third arena concert and fourth overall in the Philippines—“the first country in Asia to ever give a sh*t about our music,” Andrew said during their 2017 gig in Manila. “We look forward to coming back.”

The platinum-selling duo is behind such dance hits as “Don’t Let Me Down,” “Roses,” “Paris” and “Closer.” Earlier this year, Andre and Alex released three new singles—“Do You Mean,” “Kills You Slowly” and “Who Do You Love.” —ALLAN POLICARPIO
