MANILA, Philippines — With Mother’s Day just around the corner, Claudine Barretto has made sure to let her sister Gretchen feel special with a simple surprise.
In a video clip posted Friday on Instagram, Claudine surprised Gretchen with a balloon and a gift.
As Claudine handed the gift and greeted Gretchen “Happy Mothers’ Day,” the two sisters had a long hug. Then, Gretchen uttered: “I’m your mom.”
“Happy Mothers’ Day in advance. Thank u for always cooking my favorite food & making me laugh ‘til my tummy hurts,” Claudine captioned the video clip.
“You’re a wonderful mom, sister, best friend, etc. I can go on & on. I love you so much @gretchenbarretto,” she added.
Far from their icy relations since 2013, Claudine and Gretchen have lately been posting each other’s photos quite a lot in their respective social media accounts.

To recall, the two sisters had a fallout when Gretchen sided with Raymart Santiago’s allegations about Claudine’s use of drugs. Santiago is Claudine’s estranged husband.
