After giving birth to baby Austin Titus a week ago, Nadine Samonte announced their homecoming and revealed that they had experienced a “minor problem.”
The “Starstruck” alumna took to Instagram yesterday, May 5, to express her relief as she finally came home with baby Titus after spending nine days in the hospital and experiencing a difficult pregnancy.
“After 9 days in the hospital, finally we are going home. Nagkaroon ng minor problem si Titus and [it was] so hard for me kasi buong pregnancy ko [naghirap na ako] tapos pag labas ni Titus ganun pa,” she said.
(There was a minor problem with Titus, and it was so hard for me because I struggled during my whole pregnancy, and then when I gave birth, this happened.)
“[I am] a strong momma, bihira ako umiyak, but when I gave birth tapos ganun, I cried so much,” Samonte admitted.
The actress thanked those who helped her during her pregnancy and her son’s birth, including doctors and nurses. She also thanked her husband, Richard Chua, “for the strength and for everything.”
It seems like Samonte and baby Titus have settled down at home, as the doting mom posted a photo of her newborn today, saying, “Why so pogi (handsome), my son? So sino [na ba] kamukha? Sana ako na this time (So who does he look like? I hope it is me this time).”
Baby Titus is Samonte and Chua’s second child. Their first child, Heather Sloane, turned 2 years old last year. /ra
