Gloria Diaz to appear on Netflix’s ‘Insatiable’

MANILA, Philippines — Actress and Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz will have a guest appearance on the Netflix comedy series “Insatiable.”

In an Instagram post Thursday, Diaz posed with actor Dallas Roberts who plays the role of Bob Armstrong in the series.

“Working with Dallas Roberts on the set of “INSATIABLE” of /NETFLIX,” Diaz captioned the photo.

“I am excited/ nervous/ feels like I am a beginner/cant remember my lines/and just totally overwhelmed,” she added.

Apparently, Diaz will be guesting on the show as herself, the beauty queen’s daughter Isabelle Daza said via her Instagram stories.

“@gloria.diaz69 is guesting on Insatiable… as herself!” Daza wrote. “A Netflix show about beauty queens and beauty pageants.”

“Insatiable” is about a bullied teenager named Patty Bladell (Debby Ryan) who turns to beauty pageants to revenge on her bullies. Roberts’ character, a civil lawyer and obsessed beauty pageant coach, notices Patty’s potential and sets out to turn her into a pageant queen.

The first season of “Insatiable” first aired in August 2018. The second season is set for release this year. /muf
