The Chainsmokers to return to Manila in August

MANILA, Philippines — American DJ duo The Chainsmokers will return to Manila this August for their upcoming “World War Joy” Asia tour.

Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart will perform at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena on August 15, 2019, as announced through their official Twitter account on Thursday.


Ticket prices and other details have yet to be revealed.

Apart from Manila, The Chainsmokers will also bring their tour to Tokyo, Osaka, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Seoul, Taipei and Shanghai.

The duo last performed for their Filipino fans for their “Memories” tour in 2017. They first performed in Manila in 2014.

The Chainsmokers is known for their hits like “Closer,” “Don’t Let Me Down,” “Roses,” “Something Just Like This” with Coldplay, among others. /muf
