Actress-comedienne-host Melai Cantiveros bemoaned an unpleasant experience she recently had while in Hong Kong with her family involving travel agency Klook.
It was their first time together in Hong Kong and the experience has left a bad taste in Cantiveros’ mouth as she recounted the rude treatment of the agency’s staff while they were gearing up for their Peak Tram experience.
(I posted this so they would be aware and change the way they treat their valued customers. There were so many Filipinos that time and their approach was very rude. It’s normal to ask questions, but I wish they didn’t reply in an angry and loud manner because here in the Philippines, we are very hospitable to our visitors especially from other countries.)
She added they did not deserve the rude treatment from the staff because they paid for the tickets. She also claimed the voucher included a tour guide, but that they were not given one.
(Before that, we looked for the meeting place and after distributing the tickets, they made us walk so far, I felt sorry for the senior citizens with us. When we got to the peak tram, we realized we could have just went straight there since there was no line. It was also cheaper than what we paid Klook, who treated us badly.)
Cantiveros clarified she did not post the photos to shame or punish the travel agency’s staff but to let them know there are people who react to their actions.
“Pinost ko itu hindi para maparusahan ang nasa picture kundi para ma aware sila na may mga tao na nagrereact sa kanilang ugali at sa susunod nilang mga costumer ay di na nila gawin itu kasi ang bakasyun ay memories to keep hindi memories to forget,” she said.
(I posted this not to punish those in the pictures but to make them aware there are people who react to their actions and also so that they do not repeat this to their future customers. A vacation is for memories to keep, not memories to forget.) /ra
