James Banaag of ABS-CBN, tried to help Chiu out and gave her the contact number of the airline, but it seemed Chiu was down on her luck. “Ilang beses nako tumawag jan, binababa yung line pag pinepress ko yung 5 customer service!” (I have tried calling that number several times; they just drop the call whenever I press 5 for customer service.)

In the end, it was Philippine Airlines’ Vancouver ground staff, Jasper, who helped Chiu regarding her luggage. In her latest Twitter post made yesterday, May 20, she shared a boomerang video of herself reunited with her luggage. “Hay salamat!!! Thanks @flyPAL Vancouver ground Jasper for helping me out!!!”

In the video, she wrote, “Thanks to Philippine Airline ground personnel for helping me with my luggage!!! Lesson learned review first the airline before booking. Reunited and it feels so good!”

Thus far, Flair Airlines has not released any statement regarding the issue with Chiu’s luggage, and as per Chiu’s latest Twitter post on the matter, May 20, the airline company still has not replied to her.

Chiu wrote, “Still NO reply from @flairairlines. Never again with Flair Airlines!” JB
