MANILA, Philippines — Megastar Sharon Cuneta could not help but record her daughters as they sing a cover of her song “Mr. DJ.”
Cuneta posted Tuesday a video of Frankie and Miel singing her 1978 hit song in their hotel room.
“Kakie and Miel in an impromptu concert in our room,” Cuneta wrote. “I looove when my babies stay with us every night before going to their own rooms to sleep.”
In the clip, Cuneta’s eldest daughter with Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, Frankie, plays the ukulele as she sings with younger sister Miel.
“Mr. DJ,” written by composer Rey Valera, is a song recorded by Cuneta when she was 12 years old.
“Tonight though, we have a ‘boarder.’ Ayaw ng extra bed, sa couch lang daw siya. Cuuuute!” Cuneta added, referring to her youngest Miguel.
Cuneta and her family recently flew to Korea to “escape the Manila heat.”
