BTS announces collab with Ed Sheeran ‘Make It Right’

MANILA, Philippines — BTS’ new album “Map of the Soul: Persona” is just hours away from release, but this does not stop the Korean boy group sensation from making a last-minute announcement for the fans.

BTS revealed on Friday in a press release that one of its album tracks “Make It Right” is a collaboration with English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.

In November 2018, Sheeran said in an interview he was working a song for the seven-member group.

BTS also announced more details about its upcoming album, describing it as “a nod to the band’s past while showcasing their maturity and newfound understanding of love and the ever-widening world around them.”

“The tracks have a clear message: finding joy in love and reaching out to the world,” it added.

The group’s album and title track “Boy With Luv’s” music video will be released on Friday, Apr. 12, at 6 p.m. (5 p.m. Manila time).

This serves as BTS’ comeback after “Love Yourself: Answer” and title track “IDOL” which was released in August 2018.

Meanwhile, the group consisting of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook will make their debut appearance in American television show “Saturday Night Live” on Saturday, Apr. 13. /jpv
