All-boy group Hashtags member McCoy de Leon recently paid a visit to a fan recovering in the hospital. De Leon took to social media to share their meeting and write a heartfelt message for his fervent fan, Maricris.
De Leon wrote that he is just a temporary instrument in giving joy to his fans, adding it is family that really gives strength and happiness. However, he was moved when Maricris told him she fought not just for her family, but also for Hashtags. Maricris apparently got involved in an accident and had to be rushed to the hospital, as per the Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub yesterday, April 3.
“Pero nung sinabi niyang ‘Lumaban ako para sa pamilya ko… sayo… sa inyo (CK at Rayt)’ nung sinabi niya yan nabigla ako at napangiti,” he said via Instagram on April 3.
(But when she said, “I fought for my family, for you and CK and Rayt,” I was surprised and just smiled).
As per De Leon, Maricris is the definition of what a strong woman is.
“Kaya salamat sa maganda at matapang na binibining ito mag palakas ka lang at mag dasal (Thank you to this beautiful and fearless woman, get better soon and pray),” De Leon said.
He also reminded Maricris that her safety should be her priority and tha she should not forget herself even if she supports her idols. He also had a message for the culprit behind Maricris’ accident.
“Masaya sumuporta ng iniidolo pero sana ingatan ang kaligtasan ha dahil nag-aalala ang pamilya nio sa inyo,” De Leon said. “Kung sino man yung gumawa sayo niyan Maricris lagot sa akin yan.”
