MANILA, Philippines — Actress Maisie Williams wins among all the April Fools’ pranks as she dropped a major spoiler about the fate of her character Arya in the “Game of Thrones” season finale.

During her guesting at “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday (Monday in US time), Williams was asked, “Can you tell me anything? Can you talk about anything?”

“I’ve just decided to keep a tight lip on everything. HBO sent out a lot of memos recently about just saying nothing. So there’s really nothing I could say. They will absolutely kill me,” Williams said.

“You couldn’t give one little spoiler, one little hint? A crumb is all I ask,” Fallon asked.

Williams shared, “During shooting, the final days were really, like, emotional saying goodbye to the cast. Because I found out Arya died in the second episode—” then she put her hands over her mouth and froze.

“What? Are you kidding me?” Fallon asked. “That’s a spoiler” and Williams frantically asked, “Is this live? We can edit that out.”

Fallon replied, “Dude, yeah totally,” but a worried Williams said “They’re still gonna tweet about it,” referring to the show’s audience.

“No, don’t worry about it,” Fallon assured. “Are you serious? It’s fine. We can edit that right? We can edit it out. Don’t worry about it.”

Fallon asked the audience to applaud to restart the whole segment, but Williams seemed to be too flustered to continue. “I’m sorry,” she said before running offstage.

Fallon ran after Williams to look after her backstage, then the latter hopped out and they both yelled, “April Fools!”

Many fans took to social media to air their thoughts on Williams’ prank. One fan said, “Maisie Williams saying Arya died on the Jimmy fallon show in s8ep2 had ME SHOOOOOOOK she deserves an Oscar for that performance.”

Another fan said, “I CANT STOP LAUGHING AT THIS, maisie williams’ emmy nomination coming and season 8 isn’t even out yet.”

“Game of Thrones” Season 8 will return to HBO on April 14. #
