MANILA, Philippines – Comedian-host Vice Ganda received a surprise party and was flooded with messages from friends in the industry as he celebrated his 43rd birth anniversary on Sunday.
K Brosas shared a clip of Vice Ganda greeted with a birthday song in an Instagram post and wrote: “Suprise!!! Happy birthday tehh @praybeytbenjamin .. we love you!!”
Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber, co-stars of Vice Ganda in Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry “Fantastica,” extended their warmest greetings to the comedian in a message posted via their Instagram accounts.
Entrata posted a photo of herself with Vice Ganda and Barber captioned: “Mahal kong Ms. Vice, Happy Birthday po salamat sa buong pusong pagtanggap nyo samin ni dong na hanggang ay laging andyan para magbigay inspirasyon na mas lalong mahalin ang kung anong meron kami ngayon.”
“Alam ko pong masayang masaya ka ngayon (ehem) at dahil dyan, masaya din po kami para sayo. We love you Ms. Vice sana wag ng mawala ang matatamis mong ngiti na syang nagbibigay saya saming lahat,” she added.
Barber, on the other hand, wrote: “To the best Ate a guy could ask for – Happy Birthday. Although you’re the song horse, you still have the most loving heart of them all.”
Asia’s songbird Regine Velasquez and her husband Ogie Alcasid also extended their greetings to Vice Ganda.
“Hay pasensya na Birthday girl @praybeytbenjamin wala nanaman ako sa mood hindi nanaman ako nag smile!!!!!!! Happy Birthday teh love you,” Velasquez wrote in an Instagram post.
“We love you meme @praybeytbenjamin God bless you always!! Happiest birthday!” Alcasid said.
Singer Angeline Quinto likewise greeted Vice Ganda and expressed thanks for making her laugh.
“Maligayang kaarawan sa taong palaging nagpapatawa sa akin. Hindi man kita palaging kasama, maramdaman mo parin na mahal na mahal kita. At ang pamilya mo,” Quinto wrote.
“Maraming salamat sa pakikinig lagi sa akin. Sa lahat ng payo mo na hinding hindi ko kakalimutan Ate. I love you VG. Happy Happy Birthday,” she added.
