Isabelle Daza reminded fellow moms that not every moment should always be captured on cellphone cameras.

The actress creatively showed the reality of motherhood in the age of technology via an Instagram post today, March 28. Daza said it was her way to remind herself to put her phone down every once in a while.

In the video, Daza depicted her life as a mom through the eyes of her baby boy Baltie. She showed that from the time he wakes up until he goes for a nap, the actress always has her phone on hand.

The video also showed her daily average phone use; she picks up her phone 136 times, and uses up six hours and 53 minutes of recorded screen time per day.

“Created this video as a reminder to myself to be present and that not everything has to be recorded,” her post read. “I realized that there are times I chose to be on my phone rather than spend quality time with my son; I underestimate the amount of times he sees my phone and not my actual face.”

Daza’s video earned the praise of her celebrity friends such as Heart Evangelista, Iza Calzado, Kiana Valenciano and Cristalle Belo.

Daza is not the only celebrity mom who urges fellow moms to take a break from technology once in a while. Previously, Jennica Garcia showed her social media followers how being gadget-free has helped her raise her daughter, Athena Mori. JB
