Filipino ‘hand shadow’ artist enters ‘Asia’s Got Talent’ grand finals

MANILA, Philippines — Filipino “hand shadow” artist Shadow Ace has entered the grand finals of “Asia’s Got Talent” Season 3.

This was announced in the competition’s official Facebook page on Thursday.

Other acts who also advanced to the grand finals are Taiwanese dance group MANIAC Family and Indonesian singer Siti Saniyah who was named as the “judges’ pick.”

Shadow Ace aka Philip Galit now has the chance to win the international competition’s $100,000 grand prize.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Galit expressed thanks and joy to be part of one of the top talent shows in Asia.

“Fellow Calatagueños, Batangueños, and Filipinos! Sa kapangyarihan po ng Poong Maykapal at sa walang humpay niyong tulong at suporta, ako po ay isa ng ganap na GRAND FINALIST ng Asia’s Got Talent Season 3!” Galit wrote.

“Maraming maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat! Isa po itong malaking utang na loob ko sa inyo. Dati po ay pinapangarap ko lamang ito at ngayon po ay natupad na,” he added.

Two more acts from the Philippines, singer Eleana Gabunada and dance group Junior Good Vibes await to earn a spot in the grand finals. /muf
