On Tuesday, Marilyn Manson took to Instagram to confirm that he is working on his next studio album. “On my way to @shooterjennings to finish my new album,” his post says.

It’s not the first time that Marilyn Manson teams up with American singer-songwriter Shooter Jennings. In 2016, the duo collaborated on a cover of David Bowie’s “Cat People (Putting Out Fire)”, featured on Jennings’ LP, “Countach (For Giorgio)”.

Although Manson did not drop any hints to when the new album might be out, it will follow his 2017’s “Heaven Upside Down”. If released this year, the LP will mark the rocker’s fourth studio album of the decade.

In the meantime, Marilyn Manson will be hitting the road this summer with his “Twins of Evil: Hell Never Dies” tour, kicking off on July 9. Featuring heavy metal singer Rob Zombie, it is the third phase of their “Twins of Evil” tour. JB
