The Icelandic singer Bjork has announced that she is reissuing all nine of her studio albums on multi-colored cassettes, from her 1993’s “Debut” to 2017’s “Utopia”.

Set to release on April 26, the limited-edition tapes come in colors matching the albums’ original artwork. Each cassette will be up for sale individually, along with a special bundle of all nine.

FEATURED STORIES

This announcement follows a recent drop of vintage merchandise from Björk. Last week, several album logo t-shirts and other artwork went on sale via her label, One Little Indian.

In addition to the cassettes reissue, Björk’s new “concert experience” is set to debut in May at The Shed, in New York City. Titled “Cornucopia”, the live show features the seven-piece Icelandic flute ensemble Viibra, who appeared on her latest LP “Utopia”. The production has been supervised by John Tiffany, the director of the play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”. JB
