After successfully defending her thesis, Yasmien Kurdi is all set to graduate from college.
The Kapuso actress proudly showed off her graduation photo, sending fans in awe of her chic Filipiniana attire. This she showed in an Instagram post on Monday, March 18.
Kurdi, who is set to earn her bachelor’s degree in political science from Arellano University, wrote a simple but inspiring note: “Little girls with big dreams become women with vision.”
Some of her celebrity followers and friends were also stunned at how regal Kurdi looked in her Filipiniana attire, such as Kapamilya actress Sue Ramirez.

Veteran actress Rita Avila advised the soon-to-be college graduate to “Always love yourself. Do what is good for your mind, body and soul.”

In a previous Inquirer report, Kurdi said she is set to graduate in April. Although she would be graduating at age 30, she said she wants to prove that it is never too late to finish one’s education. She added that she wants to be a good example to her 7-year old daughter, Ayesha. JB
