Dayanara Torres shares ‘good news’ on cancer, starts treatment
Dayanara Torres glowed with optimism as she announced that she was set to start treatment for skin cancer.
The Puerto Rican beauty queen, 44, shared in an Instagram post yesterday, March 1, that she had “good news” about her condition.
“Last week’s tests show that my cancer is not spreading and is not reaching any of my organs,” she said.

She said she was to start receiving treatment on Friday. “I might get a bit weak and some muscular pains,” she said of some side effects.
Torres credited supporters’ suggestion to watch the Netflix documentary “Heal,” which presents the power of the mind on one’s health based on stories from spiritual leaders, physicians and people with chronic illnesses.
