After ending things on a sour note, Janella Salvador said she is not expecting an apology from her former love-team partner Elmo Magalona anymore.
The two were the subject of controversy last October after Salvador claimed that she suffered physical abuse at the hands of Magalona.

“What’s done is done,” Salvador said in a press conference held at Le Reve Events Venue in Quezon City. The video of the interview was uploaded on entertainment reporter Allan Diones’ YouTube channel on Wednesday.
“If you can’t get something out of someone, it’s not worth it to stress out,” the actress went on.
She added that waiting for his apology—which she thought was “something that’s not gonna come”—would only give her negativity.
“Forgiveness doesn’t have to come from the other side,” Salvador shared what she realized. “You can forgive on your own.”
Now that Salvador is now “wiser, stronger and happier,” she summed up what she learned after the experience: “Siguro (I think) since that was my very first time to actually feel those kinds of feelings, I learned what I can tolerate, what I can’t tolerate.”
“The next time it comes in life, mas alam ko na (I now know) how to handle it,” Salvador assured. Katrina Hallare /ra
