Yasmien Kurdi hurdles thesis defense: ‘Ga-graduate na ‘ko sa wakas’

Actress Yasmien Kurdi recently defended her thesis successfully, and she can now proudly say that she is definitely graduating this coming April.
Kurdi took to social media where she shared to her fans photos from her thesis defense last Feb. 13. In the photos, she can be seen with her group mates standing behind their thesis panelists as she held their thesis proudly in her hands. Kurdi is under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) of Arellano University, taking up Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
“Finally!!! Maraming Salamat Ama (Thank you so much, Father). Thank you Arellano University,” wrote Kurdi via Instagram.

Kurdi was understandably overwhelmed as she told her fans that she is graduating on April 6 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).

Finishing her studies is definitely no mean feat since Kurdi had to balance it all in between shootings of her drama series “Hiram na Anak”.
A day before her thesis defense, on Feb. 12, Kurdi took to Instagram where she shared to her fans pictures of her studying while on their set at Pulilan, Bulacan. In her photos, Kurdi looked focused as she worked on her laptop during what seems to be a shooting break.
“Nagaaral habang nasa set ng #HiramNaAnak… dahil thesis defense uli tomorrow morning sa school,” she shared. “Please pray for our group. #walangtulugan.”

All the all-nighters and sacrifices were worth it, though, as Kurdi can finally tick off passing her thesis defense from her list. And in just a few months’ time, she can say, too, that she is officially a college graduate — an achievement no one can ever take away from her.
