Aubrey Miles has apologized to her friends and coworkers whose invites she had to pass up on. She has baby Rocket to care for, after all, and these days she’s just taking it all in: the late nights, diaper changing, tummy time and everything else in between.
Miles took to social media recently to share to her fans and friends what she has been up to lately after she and Troy Montero welcomed Rocket last December.
“To all my friends and co workers that I said NO to dinner, drinks even work. I apologize, this is what I’ve been doing,” she wrote via Instagram on Feb. 6. “Busy nursing and taking care of the family.”
Miles, whose last pregnancy was about a decade ago when she gave birth to son Hunter, admitted that she is still adjusting with breastfeeding. She also shared that although she wants to get back into shape, she is in no rush to do so.
“I’m still adjusting and a little overwhelmed with breastfeeding. It’s a COMMITMENT indeed,” she said. “Also trying to get back in shape, but I’m in no rush. I know I’ll get there. So for now I’m having FUN with all the newborn baby duties.”
Babies sure can be fickle and, as per Miles, she is still scared to go out with baby Rocket because she can be unpredictable.
Case in point: Miles went to the mall to buy workout gear, only to have Rocket cry for milk while at the store.
“Cried her lungs out as if something happened,” she wrote in her post with a picture of her feeding Rocket. “Anyway in short after 2 hours being in the mall. We’re back home.”
Long shopping hours at the mall would have to take the backseat for now, it seems. But for Miles, the two hours was more than enough to buy just what she needed.
“I’m happy with 2 [hours] basta naka bili ng pang workout, “ she added. “Scared ka ba lumabas with your newborn? YES.” /ra
