Aubrey Miles loves being pregnant at 40, not worried about getting back into shape

Being pregnant for the third time sure has its advantages. Unlike new moms who are frantic and nervous in their first foray into pregnancy, television host and actress Aubrey Miles can rest easy in the fact that she, more or less, knows what goes on during the nine months of carrying a child and after.
It was last July when Miles and long-time partner Troy Montero announced that they were expecting another child. The couple already have two sons: Maurie from Miles’ former boyfriend JP Obligacion and Hunter, who was born in 2008.
Today, Miles and Montero couldn’t be any more elated after discovering this August that they are expecting a baby girl. It had been 10 years after all since Miles gave birth and for her, getting pregnant again — and at 40 years of age, too, no less — is something she had been looking forward to.
“Just happy to be able to have my energy back. Being pregnant is something that I’ve been looking forward to after 10 years. Yes my [second] son is almost 10 now,” wrote Miles last Aug. 18.

“I truly love being pregnant and feeling what was going on inside my body plus watching it change. I’m on my [fifth] month and I can feel her moving and doing some karate moves.”
Miles shared that she only has nine months to be pregnant, but all the time to be sexy and fit after giving birth. As she pointed out, “For me getting back in shape is the least I’m worried about.”
She, too, gave tips on getting back to one’s ideal weight after pregnancy.
“If you want tips getting back into your ideal weight after giving birth? TAKE your TIME, REGAIN energy, SET a GOAL and COMMIT.”
Miles stressed that it was not about losing weight that inspires, but the “journey that gives us hope.”
“Respect to all the pregnant ladies out there,” Miles said. “That Big bump is not easy to carry especially getting out of bed every morning.” JB
