WATCH: Angel Locsin assists in dressing wounds of a patient’s leg

MANILA, Philippines — Actress Angel Locsin took an extra step to study her character in primetime series “The General’s Daughter” as she helped dress the wounds of a patient’s leg.

The actress shared a video of herself assisting in cleaning and dressing the wound via her official Twitter account on Monday.

“Warning: contains graphic images. With permission to take this video. Sharing this to express my admiration to the men & women of the Medical Service!” Locsin wrote.

She said this was part of an immersion for her action-adventure series “The General’s Daughter” which started airing last Jan. 21.

“With me are Col. Ma. Victoria Juan (Army Chief Nurse) & Lt. Col. Domingo Chua (Head, Dept of Ortho) during the immersion for TGD!” she added.

In the Kapamilya network’s new teleserye, Locsin plays the role of Rhian Bonifacio who is part of the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ (AFP) Nurse Corps.

Netizens complimented Locsin for her effort in portraying her character with one saying, “I admire your passion and dedication. No doubt why you succeed in perfecting your role as Rhian Bonifacio.”

“Salute to your dedication and passion na gawin ang lahat at pagdaanan ang lahat ng yan para maging makatotohanan ang pagganap mo sa The General’s Daughter. So proud of you  madam,” another netizen said.  /muf
