A message on a card beside the cake said, “Happy 6 mo. We are so f*cking proud of you! Love, Team DL.”

Last July, Lovato was hospitalized for a reported drug overdose. She entered a rehabilitation facility after the incident and reportedly left in November.

While the singer and actress has been open about her struggles with addiction, an eating disorder and mental health, she told fans last December that she was not ready yet to share her recent experience.

In March 2018, the singer and actress announced that she was six years sober. On June of the same year, she released the song “Sober” to recount her relapse. JB
