After spending the past couple of weeks in rehab, pop star Demi Lovato recently made a return to social media, posting an Instagram photo of her at a polling precinct, urging her American followers to vote in the Senate elections.

“I’m so grateful to be home in time to vote,” wrote Demi, who was also spotted dining at a sushi restaurant in Beverly Hills, together with her friend, fashion designer Henry Levi.

Meanwhile, TMZ reported that Demi, who appeared to be in good health in the photo she posted, currently shuttles between a halfway house and a private home in California every week in preparation for her return to the outside world. She reportedly has a “sober coach” and a team of counselors who are ready to assist her.

The show biz website added that Demi, who was rushed to the hospital after overdosing on oxycodone laced with fentanyl earlier this year, also attends AA meetings in the private home, is allowed to run errands and go to the gym. —ALLAN POLICARPIO
