Pops Fernandez, TNT Boys to be part of US talent show ‘The World’s Best’

Pops Fernandez and the singing trio TNT Boys will be taking Pinoy Pride to the world stage.

The singer announced she will be among the 50 “Wall of the World” judges in the upcoming US talent show “The World’s Best,” to be hosted by James Corden. This she announced on Instagram Friday.

The “Wall of the World” is an international panel of 50 judges who are considered an expert in the field of entertainment. Aside from them, contestants in the competition will go through three judges—namely actress Drew Barrymore, country singer Faith Hill and drag queen RuPaul.

Fernandez shared another photo, this time of herself carrying the Philippine flag while she is on the set of the game show.

Meanwile, the all-kid singing group composed of Mackie Empuerto, Kiefer Sanchez and Francis Concepcion appeared to have amazed Barrymore when they sang a rendition of Beyoncé’s “Listen,” as seen on the actress’ video teaser.

“You possess a gift, you’re just that good, ” Barrymore told the trio after their performance.

“The World’s Best” is set to premiere on Feb. 3 in the CBS Network in the US, right after the Super Bowl LIII.  /ra
