It appears that there will be a new hot guy in the third installment of the “Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank” series.
Director Joey Javier Reyes revealed that Tony Labrusca will be part of the third movie, officially titled “Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank 3: The Real Untold Story of Josephine Bracken”, as stated in the filmmaker’s Instagram post last Monday, Jan. 21.
Reyes, slated to appear in the film, shared a photo of himself and Labrusca while on the set of the upcoming movie, currently shooting in New Manila, Quezon City.
Reyes also posed with other members of the movie’s cast and crew, led by Eugene Domingo and director Marlon Rivera, who also helmed the first two movies in the series.
Reyes also had a shot of Domingo together with theater actress Joanna Ampil, who will also appear in the film.
Reyes also shared other candid moments in the set, such as when he was in a standby tent, waiting to appear on camera.
While some netizens were happy with Labrusca’s appearance, one curious netizen going by the handle @grj781 asked if he already had a working visa. This comes after the issue of Labrusca’s outburst at an immigration officer, who told the actor that he only has 30 days to stay in the country.
Making sure that the netizen’s query did not fall on deaf ears, Reyes replied, “Yes, he has acquired the work permit. Otherwise, he would not be on the set.”
Meanwhile, another netizen named @carlaj.dizon asked when the film will be shown. Reyes revealed that it is slated for a March 2019 release.
“Ang Babae Sa Septic Tank” premiered in 2011 and was a big hit, even bagging the Best Picture award at the 7th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival. The sequel, titled “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2: Forever Is Not Enough”, was shown in 2016 as part of the 42nd Metro Manila Film Festival. JB
