Lea Salonga cancels Hongkong, Singapore concerts due to leg injury
MANILA, Philippines – Lea Salonga on Monday cancelled her upcoming concert tour in Hong Kong and Singapore after sustaining a leg injury during a vacation in Hokkaido, Japan.
In a twitter post, the singer said she had to cancel her performances as her leg injury is taking longer than expected to heal and she was prohibited to travel for several weeks.
“While we initially hoped to be able to keep the appearances on the calendar, the injury is going to take longer than expected to heal and my doctors have given me strict instructions not to travel for the next several weeks,” Salonga wrote.

She, however, assured that she and her management are working on rescheduling the cancelled shows.
“Disappointing fans is the last thing I would ever want to do, but I must take this time to get back into top shape,” she said. /gsg
