WATCH: Toni Gonzaga creates own YouTube channel to mark 35th birthday

Toni Gonzaga marked her 35th birthday yesterday, Jan.20, as well as her 20th year in the entertainment industry, by following in her younger sister Alex’s lead and launching her own YouTube channel.

For her birthday this year, Toni challenged herself to do something different, as she stated in her first vlog yesterday. She said that vlogging was something she never thought she would do, yet she realized that it can provide her with another way to connect and inspire her fans.

“This channel is not about what I do for a living,” she stated. “This is all about me living, living my best life now with my family and with Seve, who changed my world completely.”

Alex, meanwhile, took to Instagram yesterday to announce her older sister’s vlog: “She has a vlog! Sigurado mas may sense ‘to kumpara sakin. Teka, sana nag-Friendster na lang siya (For sure, her [vlog] has more sense than mine. Wait, she should have just used Friendster).”

She also did not forget to send out a sweet message for the birthday celebrant, accompanied by a photo of them during their European trip last year.

“May it be in another lifetime, I will still choose you to be my sister and best friend forever,” wrote Alex. “I love you [sister]! Happy birthday! I will always try to make you proud.”

Toni’s two-year-old son, Seve, together with his father and Toni’s husband director Paul Soriano, surprised Toni with a birthday “salubong” as seen via Alex’s Instagram Stories on Saturday, Jan. 19. Paul assisted Seve in carrying a birthday cake for Toni.

Despite being taken aback by her husband and son’s sweet gesture, Toni enthusiastically blew the candles on the cake.

Seve then gave his mother another precious gift: a kiss.

Soriano, likewise, did not forget to make his wife feel special on her birthday, as seen via Toni’s Instagram Stories yesterday.

Her doting husband sent her a bouquet of white roses with a card labeled “Mommy” and arranged for what appeared to be an intimate dining set up for Toni’s birthday. JB
