MANILA, Philippines — Singer Angeline Quinto proudly shared the story of how she was able to hold and kiss the image of the Black Nazarene as she joined the Traslacion on Wednesday, Jan. 10.

In an Instagram post, Quinto said it took some help from fellow devotees for her to climb the “andas” or carriage of the religious image.

“Nahirapan man po ako sa pagakyat sa inyo ngayong taon, may mga taong pilit akong tinulungan para mahawakan kayo,” she wrote on Thursday.
