Angel Locsin thanks Regine, Ogie for work on new soap’s theme song
MANILA, Philippines — Angel Locsin has thanked Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid for working on the theme song of her comeback primetime teleserye, “The General’s Daughter.”
“Thank you ate Regine & kuya @ogiealcasid for allowing #TheGeneralsDaughter to be the first teleserye in ABS [CBN] na ginawan nyo po ng theme song,” Locsin wrote in an Instagram story on Sunday.
She added, “Such an honor. May the Lord bless you more for being so generous & so supportive.”
Locsin also praised Velasquez’s voice: “Goosebumps every time kinakanta mo ang ‘Ikaw Ang Aking Mahal.’ Ang powerful ng words at ng pagkanta.”
Alcasid penned the theme song for “The General’s Daughter.” He said this on an Instagram video on Sunday showing Velasquez’s performance of the song.
“An excerpt from wifey’s performance of the theme song of #thegeneralsdaughter. Hope you like my new piece guys,” he wrote.
