For comedian Ogie Diaz, rather than illnesses, the possibility of not being able to chatter would be the likelier cause of the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino’s death.

After attending the blog conference of Aquino regarding the statement released by her former project manager, Nicardo “Nicko” Falcis, on Saturday, Jan. 5, Diaz once again went unfiltered in the latest installment of his online Q&A “Mama Ogs Says” on Facebook today, Jan. 7.

When he was asked by netizens about Aquino’s illnesses, Diaz shared the conversation he had with Aquino.

“Alam mo, pare, maikli lang ang buhay ko just like my dad,” Aquino told him, he said. “Pareho lang maliit at magka-size ang tenga namin. Kaya nga nag-pray ako at kinausap ko sa dasal ko ang mom na malakas naman siya kay Mama Mary baka pwede niya naman akong ihirit ng seven more years para maabutan kong mag-18 years old si Bimby.”

(You know my friend, my life is short, just like my dad’s. Both of our ears are short. Which is why I talk to my mom in my prayers. Since she has Mama Mary’s favor, I asked her if it would be possible to grant me seven more years of life, so I can witness Bimby turn 18.)

Diaz told Aquino that she will witness Bimby turn 30. He also explained that he believes Aquino will not die soon, because he does not think Aquino will succumb to her illnesses.

“Alam mo, si Kris, hindi mamamatay sa sakit,” Diaz said. “Mas ikamamatay niya pag hindi niya ibinuka ‘yung bibig niya o hindi siya dumaldal. Hindi kasi siya naniniwala sa ‘less talk, less mistake.’ O kaya ‘no talk, no mistake.'”

(You know Kris will not die of a disease. She is likelier to die if she cannot open her mouth or she cannot chatter. It’s because she does not believe in “less talk, less mistake” or “no talk, no mistake.”)

While Diaz hopes Aquino will be able to take a break from social media, particularly because it is one of her stressors, he is well aware that Aquino could not resist her tendency to prattle.

“But knowing Kris? Makakatiis ba ‘yan?” Diaz stated. “Kaya niya sigurong tiisin ang mga sakit niya, pero hindi ang pagdaldal kahit sa Instagram at fan page niya.”

(But knowing Kris? Can she resist it? I think she can endure her illnesses, but she cannot resist her talkativeness, even on her Instagram and fan page.) JB
