Legaspi family marks Mavy and Cassy’s 18th birthday with ‘salubong’
Mavy and Cassy Legaspi marked their entry into adulthood with a simple birthday “salubong” with their parents, Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi, held yesterday, Jan. 5.
The intimate birthday celebration was held at The Cellar at Grand Hyatt Manila in Taguig, as seen via Villarroel’s Instagram account. The twins celebrate their birthday today, Jan. 6.
“Happy birthday my favorite twins Mavy and Cassy!” wrote she wrote. “We love you so [so] much!”

The twins can be seen each blowing out pink (Cassy) and green (Mavy) candles placed beside a slice of cake. While Villarroel was smiling for the camera, her husband was busy helping Cassy extinguish the small flame on the pink candle.
In her Instagram Stories, the family raised glasses to commemorate the birthday of her “baby boy Mavy and baby girl Cassy.”

Legaspi also took to Instagram to express his sadness over his only daughter becoming an adult. “She’s turning 18 in a few hours [crying face emojis],” he said.

While their parents have mixed reactions on their debut, Cassy seemed to be over the moon today, if her post is any indication. She uploaded candid photos of herself, clad in a shimmering gray top and striped black pants, while holding a glass of red wine.

Mavy, sporting a printed button-down shirt and black pants appear to echo his twin’s sentiment. A glass of red wine as well in hand, his happiness was evident.
