Kakai Bautista expressed her heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for good friend and fellow actress Maja Salvador. Spending New Year together seems to be the yearly tradition for the two, who welcomed 2019 in Salvador’s abode.
Bautista took to social media on Jan. 3 to share a picture of her and Salvador posing in front of the camera.
“Last year we celebrated New Year in NYC. Pangarap natin yun. Our first time doing it out of the country,” began Bautista. “This year we celebrated in your home like we’ve been doing in the past years.”
Bautista gave a glimpse of what Salvador is like as a friend, saying she is usually the one who does all the planning when it comes to their trips.
“Ikaw ang palaging abala, simula palang ng taon pinaplano mo na kung saan tayo pupunta,” she wrote. “Kahit minsan random ka lang din.”
She thanked Salvador for sharing her dreams with her and making almost half of her dreams come true. “And for trusting, pushing me that I would, I could. I hope I can make some of yours too come true.”
Forever sure exists in friendships, for the two at least, as Bautista also promised Salvador that they shall continue on spending the new year together — wherever it may be.
“Tradition na we will be together every new year. Kahit saan basta magkasama tayo.” /ra
