MANILA, Philippines — Actor Ian Veneracion has been spending the holiday season with an adventure as he treks the Himalayas with his son Draco.
The 43-year-old actor posted on Thursday a photo of himself via Instagram with the snowy mountains of the Himalayas in the background and wrote: “Mainit ang ulo sa sobrang lamig.”
In a separate Instagram post, Veneracion shared a photo of his 19-year-old son Draco.
The actor marked their seventh day of hiking with a photo posted on Wednesday captioned: “7th day of trekking in the Himalayas with my tribe.”
“Hard to breathe above 10,000 ft., and deadly cold whenever the sun goes down,” he wrote.
Veneracion also shared snapshots showcasing the picturesque view of a mountain’s peak covered in snow.
The Himalayas is a mountain range which stretches across India, Bhutan and Nepal until the east of China. It is home to Mount Everest, the Earth’s highest mountain.
Aside from being an actor, Veneracion is known for his passion for adventures. In fact, he is a licensed private pilot, skydiver, paragliding pilot and scuba diver. #
