“Pambansang Bae” Alden Richards is turning 27 today and his “Eat Bulaga” Dabarkads Joey de Leon and Ruby Rodriguez, as well as his father, “Daddy Bae” Richard Faulkerson Sr., marked his special day with heartfelt messages for him.
For de Leon, the best way to greet Richards is by sharing to the world a photo of him consoling the birthday celebrant who appears to be crying, posted on de Leon’s Instagram account today.
“Wag kang umiyak Alden Richards at birthday mo lang yan!” de Leon jested. “Wag kang OA! Happy birthday at isa ka sa pinakamasipag, maaalalahanin at mapagmahal sa pamilya na nakilala ko! Mabuhay ka!”
(Don’t cry Alden, it’s only your birthday! Don’t overact! Happy birthday, and you, among the people I have met, are one of the most hardworking, thoughtful and loving to your family. Long live!)
Rodriguez, on the other hand, posted on the same platform a photo of her together with the “Pambansang Bae” to accompany her greeting.
“To one of the most generous, kind, loving person I know happiest birthday to you Alden,” Rodriguez said. “May our Lord bless you more as [you] share your blessings to others. We love you.”
Richard’s father kept his message short, posted on Twitter, and using the nickname he gave the “Pambansang Bae.” Apparently, Richards is “Jay” to him and “Tisoy” to his mother.
