LOOK: Kim Chiu, Xian Lim learn history, taste street food in China
For the end of 2018, Kim Chiu and Xian Lim have jetted off to mainland China.
The couple, who officially confirmed their relationship on November when Chiu guested on talk show “Tonight with Boy Abunda”, is spending the last days of the year together.
Chiu announced that they made touchdown in Shanghai on Saturday, Dec. 29 in Instagram posts.
Yesterday, Dec. 30, she shared a set of clips showing her and Lim arriving at the airport, munching on street food and taking a train.
Today, they are touring Xi’an, the capital of the Shaanxi province which contains much history as it is one of the capitals in ancient Chinese dynasties. It is home to the Terracotta warriors which depicts the soldiers of the first emperor of China. Lim and Chiu had a chance to see the army of thousands for themselves during their tour.
Chiu was in awe of seeing the terracotta army in person, gushing that she even got a picture with a farmer who discovered the statues, in her Instagram post today.
Speaking of history, Lim revealed that it is also the very place that inspired his mom to give him his name.
Amid the sightseeing, the couple snapped pictures together. “Loving you is such an easy thing to do,” Lim captioned his pictures with Chiu.
In 2017, the two actors also ended the year together abroad, taking an adventure in Finland. JB
