LOOK: Luis Manzano gets blocked by Jessy Mendiola’s basher

If there is one thing Luis Manzano is known for aside from his comedic prowess, it is him being upfront to anyone who leaves a bad taste in his mouth. Which is why the actor did not back down when a netizen bashed yet again his girlfriend, Jessy Mendiola.
Manzano, the ever-supportive boyfriend, shared on Instagram yesterday, Dec. 26, screengrabs of the positive reviews of Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 entry “The Girl in the Orange Dress”, starring Mendiola and Jericho Rosales.

One Instagram user, @perlitabayani, however, was not impressed with Mendiola. She took to the comments section to express her disgust, writing “yuck!”

The comment did not sit well with Manzano who looked into the account of the basher. He pointed out that the basher was more disgusting, as her poses in her photos make her appear to be looking for a foreigner “to change her life.”
The basher, undeterred by Manzano’s fiery remark, retorted that she is not like Mendiola who likes men and who was not satisfied with her ex-boyfriend, JM De Guzman.

“Maging happy po kayo sa asawa niyo, hindi yung nang-aakit [kayo] ng foreigner sa pose na ganyan para guminhawa sa buhay, bad yun,” was Manzano’s tart reply. (Be happy with your husband, don’t try t0 seduce foreigners with your kind of poses, just to better your life. That’s bad.)
In a separate comment, he asked the basher why she suddenly blocked the actor from the social networking service, rousing laughs from the actor.

In the end, Manzano made sure he got the last word before continuing with his teasing: “Kayo po nambash pero ako block niyo (You were the one who was bashing yet I am the one you blocked).”

Another netizen, @ninamiromario, chided Manzano for his reply to the basher.
“Kung tutuusin yung GF mo half Filipina,” added the netizen, pointing out that Mendiola is born of a Filipina mother and a Lebanese-British father. “So meaning yung nanay din nya parang [sinasabihan] mo na kaya pumatol sa foreigner [ay] para gumanda ang buhay.”
(Your GF is half Filipina. So that means you were sort of telling her mother she had a relationship with a foreigner to have a better life.)

In his response, Manzano remained firm in what he thinks of the basher, with another witty retort: “Some do it for love, some for money. The basher is the latter.” JB
