Regine Velasquez on bullying incident: Teach kids how to defend selves
MANILA, Philippines — Regine Velasquez has chimed in on the discussion of bullying after a video of a bullying incident inside the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) Junior High School’s premises went viral on social media.

“Oh my goodness. I think we need to teach our children how to defend themselves,” Velasquez wrote via her Twitter account on Friday.
The Asia’s Songbird’s tweet quoted a netizen’s reaction on the bullying incident caught on video that circulated online.
Velasquez added: “I don’t believe in violence but masama ba kung ipagtangol mo ang sarili mo? Nakakagalit ito #NoToBullying.”
The viral video showed a student of the ADMU Junior High School appearing to verbally and physically taunt another student inside the bathroom.
