KC Concepcion on managing personal finances: Property first before an expensive bag
KC Concepcion took to social media recently and shared a lesson her grandparents and mom Megastar Sharon Cuneta imparted to her when she was younger.
In her post, Concepcion shared a breathtaking view of a beach, saying how it is through saving and investing that she was able to afford such. Despite being in her 30s, Concepcion said that she continues to learn when it comes to personal finance and who else but her grandmother Elaine Cuneta, stepdad senator Kiko Pangilinan and mom Sharon to teach her the ways?
“My grandma, stepdad, and mom were so strict about saving up to buy property FIRST before getting that @hermes bag…” wrote Concepcion.

As per Concepcion, the pressure and standards were nothing short of high, but it was something she was glad for.

Many of her fans have since expressed their admiration for her wisdom and commended her for learning from her mom and grandmother.
“Your mom and grandma are wise women,” said a certain Kee-ann (@kiestampador). “And you are also for listening and learning from them. Now we are learning from you as well.”
Another, Suprema Corpuz (@suprema.corpuz), told Concepcion that the habit of saving is itself an education.
“It fosters every virtue, teaches self-denial, cultivates the sense of order, trains to forethought and so broadens the mind,” the netizen said. “You are indeed a WISE woman! Keep inspiring us!” /ra
