Shania Twain has sold hundreds of millions of records worldwide, won numerous awards and is widely known as the “Queen of Country Pop.”
But despite these achievements, the singer still has a lot of dreams she hopes to fulfill. And one of them, she revealed, is writing a song for fellow diva Celine Dion.

“One of my dreams has always been that she would record one of my songs. So, yeah, I would love for her to sing one of my songs,” she said in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight.” “I’m going to write one for her! I love her, she’s extraordinary.”

Can the fans expect a duet? “I could write it, and she could sing it!” she stressed.

Shania also talked about “Real Country,” a new reality talent search for budding country artists. Aside from being the show’s executive producer, she also sits as a panelist in the show.

“I love… the fact that it’s genre-specific… We have so many great artists out there who need to be discovered. We need to make room for them, especially for diversity,” she pointed out. “We need more women. And stylistically, we have to take advantage of all the different styles that fall under country music.”—ALLAN POLICARPIO
