DonKiss not competing with other love teams

“There’s always a space for everyone in the industry. We don’t have to compete with each other,” declared Kisses Delavin.

The young actress said she refused to feel pressure whenever she and onscreen partner Donny Pangilinan (collectively known as DonKiss) are being pitted against other love teams, especially those in their home turf ABS-CBN.

“You will become successful in what you’re doing, as long as you work hard,” said Kisses, who is seen regularly with Donny in the family-oriented series, “Playhouse.”

The two are often compared to the tandem of Maymay Entranta and Edward Barber (known as MayWard) because they are of the same age. Donny, however pointed out that they are actually good friends.

“We work with them in ‘ASAP.’ We’re just a part of one group,” he stressed. “We see this as something we all enjoy.” —MARINEL CRUZ
