Alessandra de Rossi almost quit showbiz after colleague’s ‘betrayal’
Alessandra de Rossi revealed on Tuesday that she almost quit show business after experiencing “betrayal” from a colleague.
The actress became emotional as she expressed how she felt in an interview at “Tonight With Boy Abunda” that aired Tuesday.
“Ang hirap lang talaga humanap ng tao na totoo saiyo sa showbiz. Kasi totoong-totoo ako, e (It’s hard to find someone who will be true to you in showbiz),” De Rossi told host Boy Abunda.
De Rossi, however, did not give specific details on what happened.
She recounted what her mother advised her after the incident: “Iyon ang sinasabi sa akin ng mama ko na, ‘Huwag mo ituring lahat na pamilya. Mamili ka lang.’ Ako kasi, hindi ako namimili (My mom has been telling me to be selective and not to treat everyone as family. I am not selective).”
The actress admitted she nearly quit showbiz. “Umabot ako sa gusto ko na namang mag-quit. ‘Yung, ‘Ayoko na, ang pa-plastic niyong lahat (I reached a point when I want to quit)! ’”
“I make mistakes. Nagagalit ako. Minsan, mayroon akong nasusungitan. I’m a human being, but I’m not evil,” the “Through Night and Day” actress added. /ee
