Toni, Alex Gonzaga hold off holiday vacation after their film gets chosen as official MMFF entry
Sisters Toni and Alex Gonzaga decided to hold off their holiday vacation plans in light of the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival this December.
“Mary, Marry Me,” a joint project between the Gonzaga sisters, was chosen to be part of the 2018 MMFF. Toni and Alex had already been making vacation plans with their family should the film not be included, so it came as a surprise when they received the good news, reports Push.
“Sobrang saya. Hindi namin ine-expect ‘yun. Kasi naka-slate na kami for January, sabi namin, kung hindi papasok (sa MMFF). But thankful kami na napili ng committee na maging part,” said Toni during her contract renewal.
(We’re quite happy. We weren’t expecting it. We’d been slated for January vacation if it didn’t get included in the MMFF. But we’re thankful that the committee chose to include our film.)
Toni and Alex were also asked to be part of a new “Pinoy Big Brother” installment called “Pinoy Big Brother: Otso.”
